After being postponed earlier after some technical difficulties, the Africa ICT Expo will commence on October 16, at the Kempinski Hotel in Accra.
The theme for the event is Digital Possibilities – Think | Build | Sell.
The event will have the following features:
The event will feature a number of speakers from different segments of the country including mobile operators, regulators, consumer brands as well as industries and organizations with direct or indirect links to the mobile technology sector. Other speakers will also come from banking and finance, health, education, agriculture, entertainment and telecommunication.
The event will also feature an Apps Lounge. A permanent and exciting feature of MOBEX is it’s Apps Lounge. This lounge gives attendants and visitors an opportunity to interact with local mobile app developers.
African Innovations Arena
The MOBEX event will feature an African Innovations Arena which is aimed at demonstrating the needed push that Africa can equally contribute to the global tech innovations basket and is not only good for adopters and consumers.
MOBEX 2017 will feature an e-sports gaming championship during the 2-day event. Registered gamers will compete for the coveted MOBEX eSport Cup.
MOBEX 2017 will feature Masterclass sessions which are intended to be in-depth training or learning experiences. It will give participants the opportunity to learn from experts or academics (on different subjects) who will train and present the latest theories and trends in the focus area.
